The Nydam boat, a 4th century AD war ship was on temporary display at the National Museum of Copenhagen in the spring/summer of 2003. The boat was transported by truck to Copenhagen from Schleswig, Germany. Because the lenght prevented its exhibition in the normal exhibition area, the boat was lifted into the courtyard of the museum where an inflated climatized tent like structure was built.
