Air Raid Shelter Can only be visited as part of paid guided tour against an additional fee of 200 DKK

Air raid shelters from World War II kan still be seen in the streets. Denmark was spared of major air raids, but in 1944 the war drew closer, and experiences from Germany indicated that only the building of concrete shelters would offer the population sufficient protection.
In an air raid shelter close to the museum an exhibition on air raid precautions has been set up. One of the rooms has been brought back to its original appearance.
In another room air raid precautions of the time are being illustrated.
